we are getting a lot of bites on tubes but they won't take the bait.we wait on them but they take the bait behind the hook.we have down sized same thing.any ideals on a different finesse bait we can try.  THANKS

More than likely it's bluegills or sunfish picking on the bait.

Otherwise it sounds like you are trying to set the hook too late.

It could very well be the equipment you are using too.  :-/

Same here... we get a custom made jig head 1/16 oz with a 3/0 hook.
