Featured Replies

Got tired of going through crap digital scales so I bought myself a birthday present.

Got the 315 15# for $110. And it comes with a free float :)

Anyone use these?

Congrats! Is on a list of things I want... In the mean time, my econo-scale works well and is rather accurate. Though it has seen better days.... I *really* want a boga.

You keep going to Baccarac and you're gonna need the 30# model!!

THey are definitely high on my list of itens to get too, I just wish the 15# model weighed in less than 1/4lb increments.

I got the same one a few months ago and really like it. I like being able to quickly weigh fish without having to get my digital scale out.

Just saw a pic on facebook of a pike with its left bottom lip hanging from the corner of its mouth, teeth and all. No boga grips for this guy.

Had my Boga for 4 yrs now,if you're not worried about ounces & tenth's of ounces you can't do better.

Since the 15 lb scale is marked in quarters of a pound it shouldn't be too difficult to determine that half of that is 2 ounces.  The scales are accurate and eyeballing the ounces in that 1/4 pound section where your fish weight falls should be simple enough.

why are the 15lb and 30lb bogagrips  the same price?

and whats the difference between the regular one and the IGFA certified one besides the obvious that one is certified? i mean they still should read the same weights in theory...

Bought me a cheaper brand and had to return them. Boga's the best.

I've had one for a couple of years now and I have never found a better scale out there. I used to be fortunate when I lived in S.FL to be about 10 minutes away from the IGFA museum/facility which is in the same parking lot as the BP shop down there. I too went with the 15 lb version and it will probably outlast me. You pay for the quality, but it's well worth it in the end. It grips easily, and it's accurate. That's what I want.
