Inspiring Photo

Saw this photo someone posted on facebook tonight. I see a lot of these types of photos but this one stuck out to me, it makes perfect sense To be a champion at something even bass fishing requires being mentally tough through the hard times - not just the good times.

Heres the fishermans version:

I've fished over 90 tournaments in my career.

I've lost almost 300 fish. 26 times I've swung at a bass and missed

I've failed over and over and over again in my life.

And thats why I succeed.

Remember, even the best fail. Dont beat yourself up after a bad day of fishing. Analyze it, learn from it and you will use it to be successful.

And like we Jersey natives like to say. Never Give up!!!!!!!!

Off topic: One of my best memories ever about MJ.  I was at a club downtown when I was about 22. When I walked in, there is a roped off section with MJ hanging on a couch smokin' a stogie and dancing with 3 blondes that were my age. We tried to buy MJ a bottle to meet him. His 7' bouncer wasn't having it.

Topic: MJ was/is the greatest basketball player to ever live. His drive and commitment to the game will never be forgotten.  When the bulls legacy teams split, I stopped watching basketball. It was never the same for me.  Today it's like watching a street ball game at the local park.  And that thing called "defense" doesn't exist as it once did.

They should have included his career batting average with the list of failures

We can't forget he chopped off the tip of his finger because he mistook it for a cigar. :laugh5:

Mark, sounds like were about the same age. Watching the bulls was a social thing for me. The bars in the city were packed during the games. MJ lived off Half Day Rd. just west of 41. As a pick up line I would invite the hotties to go for a drive to see if we could maybe run into him LOL. The proof I wasn't lying was the wrought iron gate in front of the house had the #23 incorporated into the design. I haven't watched a game since.
