Does anyone know what size treble hooks come on these baits?  I had a 40# alligator gar destroy the hooks today, so I need to replace them.

I'm not a 100% sure but I'm thinking they come with #4's.

I believe the trebles are size 5 as I know they are on the Spro MD, but I'm sure a 4 will work fine.

The little John square is size fives. The MD is size five. The Baby DD is a size three, and the DD is a size 1.

I replaced the stock hooks that a big pike trashed on a little john square bill with mustad KVD short shank triple grips in #4 size with no adverse effects...........in fact I have caught more fish on it since switching the hooks out.

I don't disagree with that at all. I have switched all of mine to Gamakatsu #4 round bends.

I've got a box of these already, they look pretty close to the same size.
