Hey guys, i need some suggestions. I plan on buying a tackle bag. i will be ordering from bps but im unsure of which one to get. i dont want to get a cheap one that rips on the first trip. this is my first one ive bought which is why i need the advice. thanks for the help. happy fishing!!

I bought one from BPS last summer. I was thinking about buying one and one was on sale when I walked in. A week or so later, someone mentioned one from Gander Mountain in this forum...

 

I wished I hadn't bought the one from BPS. Not the material or quality, but the design of Gander Moutain would have fit my needs better. My advice is to look around. Not all bags are equal.

Unless you have a gift card to BPS get one of the Cabela's Advanced Angler bags. I had a BPS bag, as have several of my fishing buddies, we've all had problems with the zippers or material tearing. I've had a couple Advanced Angler bags and never had a problem with one. Good quality material and heavy duty zippers with plenty of storage. 

If you have an Academy, be sure to check out the ones they carry. They are very nice, have all sizes, and are priced CHEAP. Very good quality, like everything in the H20 line.

I have had this bag for 6 years now. Its not made for fishing, but I can hold 6-7 3700 series boxes in it. It holds all my extras, knives, scent etc. Pockets galore. In one of the side pockets I can hold about 25 bags of plastics too. You will need your own boxes, but its d**n strong. I used to haul 100 plus pounds of gear and ammo around to all my competitions with it. Its only 50 dollars and they go on sale all the time. I think I paid 29.99 for mine.

I don't have a bag and the one I settled on is the H20 Express bag from Academy. I was looking at it in the store and it's real nice. Might take a quick peek at that one. The price isn't bad either.
