I'm looking for a new leader material. I have always used whatever flouro I have but I want to try something specifically made for leaders.

Has anyone used the Shensei leader material, what do you think?

Any other suggestions for a leader material my most preferred traits are abrasion resistance and knot strength.

i use it and 6 and 10#.

I've been using this leader for about 14 months now. It fill both your requirements very well. Strong, fairly low stretch, ties beautiful knots.

Orivs Mirage (should be at most any fly shop) 0x sized Fluoro leader.  The stuff is bomber in rocks and wood.  Holds knots very well too.  Tiny spools won't clutter up your bag too.

For 30lb braid or heavier, I like Seaguar AbrazX #17.
