Are Lucky Craft Pointer 78s supposed to suspend nose down or horizontal? I just got my first ones and the 100 suspends nose down while the 78 is horizontal. I was just wondering if this was right.

All of the 78 series pointers I have used suspend horizontally and pretty much perfectly.

are you tieing directly or using a swivel or snap?

I'm just tying it on directly and its at about a 45 degree angle. I think that's how its supposed to be though.

are you using them in the same water? if yes, sounds like you got a bum 78, maybe a weight is stuck at the front of the lure? try shaking it around.

Even the 100s? They have the brass balls that move to the front of the lure

is this a slight nose down or a vertical presentation? the slight nose down is perfect, anything more is wrong.

I'd say its a little less than 45 degrees.
