What have you guys had the most success with when bank fishing?

Spinnerbaits and jigs have always worked good for me. Depends on where I'm fishing though...

Swimbaits for me The bass are in feeding on the Blue Gills and I slip a swim bait in there an I have been having great success.  They have been watching the spinner baits go by.

anything. I have caught fish on just about everythinf this year, but my big fish came on a jig.

There is no secret lure for bank fishing , you fish the same lures that you fish from a boat.

Agree with the others who use anything. Just fish whatever lure you think fits the conditions and it'll work if there are fish around and willing to hit something. The bass don't know if the fisherman is on the bank or in a boat.

Try an 1/8th. oz. ball head jig with a 3" or 4" curly tailed grub on it. If there are fish to be caught in the spot you're casting to, few lure have the attracting and triggering qualities these small lures do.

I fish from the bank and I use everything guys in boats use. Cranks, jerkbaits, t-rigs, jigs etc. The only lure I can think of that you really need to be in a boat to use is a jigging spoon.

Im not looking for advice on what lures to fish from the banks guys, i was just simply wondering what every one else has been catching them on from the bank

in that case, I have been having success with spinnerbaits w/ matching zoom trailer, swim jigs w/ rage craw trailer, small crankbaits like the strike king 1xs, and lipless crankbaits.

For some reason I can't buy a Senko bite this year.

I fish from the bank exclusivley( no boat) I like to throw a drop shot rig from the bank, and work it back slowly, and shaking it from time to time. Another thing I like to throw are cranks, and lipless cranks. But working the drop shot horizontally is the key for most of my fish.

x2...the drop shot has been producing well for me this year.  I've also caught fish on a T-Rigged Craw and a good old fashioned Rapala floater.

Don't overlook the smaller lures. I had a good-sized bass take a little #10 Bett's "Trim Gim" popper the other day while fishing for bluegill. Unfortunately I forgot I was using 6x tippet (3.1 lb test) and lost him as soon as he jumped. 

Cranks work best for me and then pretty much any plastic texas rigged.

I was standing in about 2 ft of water one day and had about 6 inches of line out, in the water (It was hanging in while I was looking for a new lure). A smallie came out of the grass beside me and swallowed my Sexy Shad. I think that's proof enough of how well cranks work on the bank

Deep creek lure company worm: chartreuse with black back

Fish stalker finnesse worm: Watermelon gold glitter

Zoom trick worm: green pumpkin green

Culprit worm: red shad

Booyah spinnerbait: gold shad or cortez shad

Booyah jigs: zoom and other trailers

Rapala DT4: shad

H20 Express: RC 1.5 knock off: yellowish with pumpkin back

Rapala original floater: shad

I've had ever little success bank fishing. But Wells Fargo has produced more than Citi-Bank. for me anyway.

I've done good with 4" finesse worms, SENKOS, Booyah Pond Magic, Spro Bronzeye Jr, Snag Proof Mouse, Heddon Torpedos, Storm Subwarts, and anything that imitates a frog or bluegill. (Oh wow.... I guess thats my list.... LOL When the fish are on the banks they're lookin' for those two things nine times outta ten.)

I almost always fish from the bank. I've had good success with lipless cranks, T-rigged plastics, jigs, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, topwaters and frogs.

Because I fish a quarry with a lot of sharp edged rocks & boulders on the bottom, I usually avoid lead-based bottom techniques in favor of weightless plastics. The plastics seem to get wedged in the rocks less often. However, I haven't learned yet and I'll still throw T-Rigs and Jigs every so often. I average about 2 to 3 casts before I have to break off the line...
