Bluegill Skirt

Featured Replies

Very nice.

Yes very nice looking jig.

Looks great. I wish I had a bladed swim jig with this skirt on it, as it would be killer this week where I fish.

Any chance of getting a recipe for that? I totally understand if you don't want to give it out, just thought Id ask.

Very nice!

Very nice. And I apologize in advance for being overly critical but the only thing I would change would be color of the head to something darker (green pumpkin/watermelon based). As far as the skirt alone it is outstanding, as I believe this was the only part of the spinnerbait up for debate. Keep up the good work!

Comfortably Numb I PM'd you my email address I didn't get the file, did you have a chance to send it out?

Hi Bill,

Thats a cool looking bait there. I'm just now starting to make my own jigs and would love to have a copy of your Excel sheet as a reference when making my own skirts if you don't mind. My first one was a little ho hum. Tried to do a Junebug Bluegill, but my shades were too similar and my Green Pumpkin tab just didnt look right. Thanks in advance.

Marion

PS: Thanks for the Spike It tip.
