Big Bite Baits-Fighting Frog

Featured Replies

Just ordered some of these from TW(waiting for them). Got the Tilapia and Black Blue laminate.  I figured I would go with the two most versatile colors.  Anyways, those of you that have fished these, how have you fished them and what types of conditions? Thanks!

i have tons of them i love them you can cast it weightless its good for clear water and you can flip/pitch and its verstiale bait

my favorite method in clear/stained is tx rig with 3/16 oz tungsten and i discover it allow the bait have slow fall but the arms will move lot just like rage tail parts

They are killer baits. Great for punching or texas rig. I would use them on jigs but the slit for the hook does not give much to bite into as a trailer and the bait does not sit right on the hook. I thought about using mend it to see if I can make it work.

They are freakin awesome baits.  I got to fish with Dean Rojas this Feb. at the Classic and he was flipping it.  I went home and bought some after seeing him dirty it up and ever since then, I have been whackin them on it.  I use a 3/0 straight shanked Gamakatsu with a 1/4-1/2oz weight, pegged.  The fish eat that thing up.

So you just fish it texas rigged around grass or cover?  Maybe docks?

Thanks for all the great answers guys!  I just got them in today, fished them T-rigged with a 1/8oz. tungsten weight pegged pitching to submerged grass.  Third cast on the Tilapia color, BAM!, two feet in front of me a bass slams it! And I was reeling it back in for another cast! It may be the bait, it may be a fluke... either way I'm SOLD! These things are great!  To add to this post I got the Big Bite Baits Cane Stick worms, let me tell you guys, this thing looks sick! AND it falls just like a senko with that wiggle...

Love them, I use tilapia and green pumpkin red flake. I want to get some different colors, but I use 3/16-1/2oz weight and thrown them near and in cover. Janns netcraft near my house has them for $3.65/pack

Wat/red, vegas flash, and tilapia are my 3 favorite colors for this bait. Mostley flippin with a gambler ko hangover skirt pegged with a 1/4 or 3/8 tungsten weight. I have also caught a lot with these on a light weight c rig. I have also modified a few. I took the long tail of a BBB squirrel tail worm, cut the claws/feet off the frog and stuck the tail on the frog. It looks like a giant tadpole. It is awesome on a c rig. You will love those frogs. Very versitile.
