Wanting to see who has used this bait and how they rigged it.

 

What rod/reel combo and line.

 

I have other baits that I prefer better but want to give this bait a fair shake

Only tried it a few times as a jig trailer

I like it on the back of a jig. I tear everything except for the legs off though. I've had really good luck with them on the back of a brush jig though.

It's a good bait. I mostly use it t-rigged to pitch/flip to cover. Depending on the amount of cover and type will dictate which setup i use. Anything from a 6'8" MXF baitcaster with 12lb fluoro and a 1/4 oz weight up to a 7'10"MHF rod with 60lb braid and a 1 1/2 oz. 

I caught almost all of my 35 bass over the weekend on a rocket craw in black/blue fleck. Texas rigged with a 3/0 owner j hook and 1/4-5/16 weight. Rod was a 7'3" MH *** Black and 12lb yozuri hybrid. The best part was going 5+ fish on one craw, very tough bait.
