Not Bad For An Old Man

I went 3 for 3 this morning with a couple of other strikes that didn't hook up.  Gotta love my new Cabo 40, talk about a power reel, mounted on an Okuma 8' mh inshore rod amplifies the pleasure even more.  Took 2 of us to lift this puppy up.

With all the freshwater coming out of the spillways the outgoing tide has been dark, but snook like that.  The fishing isn't really as good as it's been in other years, it's just starting to get a little better.  Yesterday morning ( Friday) 1 small tarpon about 15#, imo one of the more fun fish and I prefer catching juvies, 1 cuda strike but no hook up.  Heading offshore this morning.

awesome hope you do great offshore!

Awesome snook. Congrats. I can't wait to get back and fish the Ft. Pierce inlet and get me another one.
