Snakeheads Are Catfish With Attitude.

Featured Replies

Thats a great idea to get rid of an invasive species. Does the state sponsor the tournament or is there a buy in?

Poor snakeheads, I enjoy catching them they are a great sport fish. Have not eaten one yet but I hear they are tasty...then again it is the dirty Potomac River.

I wouldn't be eating a snakehead from these Florida canals either, but have heard they are tasty.

What are you guys using to catch them?  Mostly hear about people bowfishing them around here.  Are they more of a top water frog and lizard or spinner/swimbait?

Moken12, where is "around here", if its the Potomac, frogging them up this time of year is the most fun!

Anyone know if there are snakeheads in Jacksonville, or is it too cold?
