Want Some Tips On The Dropshot Rig, Want To Try This Week For First Time.

I want to try this setup the next time I go but never done it before. I will be fishing at a large pond. I have seen some hooks at Dicks that is made for dropshot but hook looks too small to me. Any tips for a beginner would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Watch this video, Aaron Martens is a great teacher. As for hooks, I use 2/0 Gamakatsu finesse wide gaps, but I know gamakatsu makes a dropshot specific hook. Never tried the VMC Spinshot but they look nice, too.
