Duckett Micro Magic Bait Caster Rods?

Featured Replies

Hey guys!!!

Just wondering if any of you guys have bought the Duckett Micro Magic rod series and if so what did you think of it compared to popular rods out such as the Bass Pro Jimmy Houston Carbonlite rod, Falcon rods, or any of the Abu Garcia rods.

Thanks guys and have a nice day BASSIN' YA'LL!!!

Johnny Morris Carbonlite rods are great rods but the Duckett Micro Magic in my opinion is a much better rod but it is also a little bit more expensive.  They are not as good as Falcon Cara T7 rods and they are definitely better then Abu Garcia Rods.

I love mine, super sensitive and light. Not to mention down right sexy

I fished all Vendettas last year, and have since upgraded my 4 rods to the Ducketts Micro's.  Like others have stated, they are lighter, and more sensitive than the Vendettas.  Now don't get me wrong, the Vendettas are some good rods for their price, as soon as you can fish with one, you will feel the difference.

Thanks for the help and info guys!

I love my ducketts! I have a 7'0" Medium which I use for Texas rigs, crankbaits, topwater. And a 7'0" Heavy which is use for jigs, frogs, small swimbaits like a black dog bait shellcracker. I'm getting a 7'6" heavy in a week because my Heavy broke after setting the hook which I think was a fish. Set the hook and it felt like one because on how whatever it was moving, but my jig unhooked. There customer service is pretty good to. I emailed them about a rod specs and they sent me a lot of detailed info about it. I also asked if I could get a sticker and they sent me 9 for some reason haha. They are really sensitive and light.
