Other dealers state the left handed models will not be available for shipping until mid. November.

Keep in mind, too, that Shimano is notoriously slow on shipping.  Last I had checked there were zero orders th st had even been released.  That's not a good indicator to be in stores mid-month.  It's possible, yes, but not entirely likely.

I will ask some other stores and see what they say. If they all say midway through this month, then maybe shimano stepped it up this year.

My local shop is saying they will have it first week of August, the good thing I'll be up north fishing and staying at the cottage for a week.  Bad news, is that I'll have to wait to get see one.

One of the reasons I'm not a terribly big Shimano fan.  Not all models available in lefty, and they seem to drag their feet in making lefty models available.

I just checked with my 2nd choice tackle shop, they said next week.  Their rep told them they have availability to ship and they ordered a couple weeks before iCast.

I'm a big Shimano guy but I too wish they would start making the lefties available at the same time as the righties.

I wouldn't hold my breath for these to be any sooner, this is just how Shimano does it. I've always had to wait to get the new lefty Shimano's. I agree with you though it really sucks waiting.
