Picked up some Craws tonight. Rage Craw- Summer Craw, Baby Rage Craw- Candy Craw.

I'm pumped to fish these.

What hook size do you use for the Babys? Weight or no weight?

4/0 Gammy G-lock fits the standard craw beautifully.  Weight is all dependent on the depth and wind.

I'm thinkin' the Baby would be good with a 2/0 and 1/16 oz. tungsten weight.

Yup, a 2/0 or 3/0 for the Baby is perfect. Also try that Baby Craw on a swim jig, and either one on a stand up jig head like the Spot Remover or Stiffy jig. You got some good colors, too.

Also you can cut the craws in half to make for a smaller profile when fishing a jig.

I teach a wide spectrum (age/experience) of anglers and it amazes me that when the subject of craw worms, especially big craw worms comes up no one equates them to the Texas Rig regarding them as jig trailers only.

In my book one of the most deadly yet widely over looked big bass baits is the Texas rigged craw worm and I aint talking just flippn'/pitchin'punchin' either but ole school bottom bumping Texas rigging.

Catt- Every time I've looked at these, I've thought "Man, these things are big-fish baits." I already love 'em.  ;D

I bought some too and I'm so excited to try them. I bought both craw and baby-craw. I'm curious as to try them weightless, t-rigged, c-rigged, split shot, and jigged to see what works. I would think t-rigged and jigged would present the best.

Any predictions?
