I finally caught my first fish on a drop shot rig ! Nothing huge..3 of them about 12in long but im happy i caught them on this rig since everyone swears by it.

 

I found im more comfortable throwing the rig on baitcasting gear, i was using a baby brush hog on a 2/0 ewg hook with a 1/4oz weight about 9 inches from the bait.

 

I was suprised i caught anything...the temp was in the high 90's and i was fishing in the afternoon but still a good day.

awesome..glad someone is having sum success on the drop shot...trying to figure out myself. they fished a tourney around my way Saturday and the winners caught all their fish on the dropshot and Carolina rig.
