My Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth

Featured Replies

The tip broke off of it. I bought it off of eBay brand new is there anything that I can do? It's a 6'10 MH.

Contact Fenwick they should take care of it. That rod does have a limited life time warranty.

Lifetime warranty, Fenwick is good to deal with, the number for warranty claims is on the tag. How did you break the tip? I only want to know as I have 2 of the 6'10" MH-MF, I loved my first one so much that I needed a 2nd because I use that rod for square bills and topwaters and during the summer I have a square bill and topwater tied on at all times.

Fenwick is pretty quick to respond to queries too.  I've sent queries to Shimano and St Croix before.  It always took a day or two to get an answer, Fenwick/Pure Fishing literally answered my emails within a hour.

I'd like to know how you broke the tip too?  I guess it's possible during shipment your rod may have gotten damaged.

There was a small nic in the rod when it arrived I guess it had been damaged during the shipment. I had been fishing with it a couple of days no problem. Then I went to cast out my 3/8 oz War Eagle spinnerbait the tip of the rod just snapped off.

Definitely call Fenwick, and maybe the eBay seller.
