I have never really fished a jig so I don't know where to start...the lake I fish is 57 acres with lots of big fish but it is SUPER pressured by a ton of people...so I was just wondering where I should start...most of the cover is fallen trees

As stated above, there are great jig threads and videos all over this site, and youtube.

If your fishing pressured water, try to break away from the groups of people and find spots that arent hit very often. Throw a jig around cover and fish it slowly. Try to give the bass something they dont see every day.

A jig may be the way to go on a lake with a lot of pressure.  Most of the lakes I fish are hit hard every weekend, and I hardly ever see anyone using a jig.

the jig is awesome, yet SO MANY fishermen do not throw them.
