Ive periodically read about this bait and how effective it is.Im pretty confused though.

At WalMart they carry some MADMAN craw baits,but there are several different styles and designs. From Craw worms to Craw Bugs like Yum makes.

What does the "true" Madman Craw that everyone raves about actually look like?

I can''t answer that really. But I tried to give some away on here and nobody wanted them.

I have a couple bags of mad Man craws.  They look nearly identical to the YUM craw.

Are those YUM crawbug style baits the ones ive heard of people disliking?

The way I understand it, YUM got the rights to MadMan.  The CrawBug and the MadMan are identical.  I've got several bags of the original and guess what????....can't recall ever tossing one.  Maybe I ought to at least give them a try.... :-?

Worry no more and seek no more, MadMan went bust a few years ago so they are no longer available, the MadMan craw is identical to the Yum Crawbug, actually PRADCO purchase what was left of MadMan.

Many walmarts still have some Madman baits, they are no loner in business, but can still be found here and there.

The first Mad Man Craws looked exactly like the Yum Crawbug

The second in the line of Mad Man Craws looked the Lake Fork Craw execpt the didn't have the ribs and was more productive than the first.
