Evolution jig

Featured Replies

Have any of you guys tried the evolution jigs, i just got a couple because they look pretty cool and i think they will work.

ive had my eye on them but havent broke down & bought them yet...but i will :)

I saw them last year and thought they were designed to catch fisherman.

The stand up idea is nothing new. Most of the time they hit it on the initial fall.

White jigs have had clear weed guards for ever, and I doubt Denny Brauer is worried if bass can see the weed guard on his jigs. If I am throwing a jig there is enough other stuff like stems and weeds in the water, I am not worried about the fish seeing a weed guard. If I am in open water swimming a jig, I don't need a weed guard. ::)

What is the big deal with the skirt forward design? Is it to hide the invisible weed guard? ;D

I don't see how it is any better, especially for $4.50 a piece.

they are on bass pro shopps web site .... they look real nice but ive yet to try them  ;D

I saw them for the first time yesterday.  No way I'm paying $10 for two jigs.

well ill agree this jig is a pricey one .... how ever this jig does offer a few sudel differences ,, that may make all the difference .... i like the way the hook sits when the jig is still ,,, that hook is almost straight up keeping that chunk up where it can be seen .....  just me but ill have a few  ;D
