First On The New Rod And New Pb

Featured Replies

It's been a really fun summer getting into bass fishing, don't know what took me so long to set aside the surf fishing gear and start heading to the lake. I just got a new bass rod, a *** *** Black, and I just had to take it to one of my favorite spots to break it in, Lake Perris for all you So Cal guys. It was a tough day a fishing, but finally got this beauty to bite. Turned out to be a nice 4 pounder. Nice fish on a nice rod, it doesn't get any better.

I was fishing a texas-rigged baby brush hog around some sunken trees.

Great fish! Can think of no better way to break in new gear than with a PB.
