    Yeah - I'm sorta amazed they sent the replacement rod. Nothing in their stated warranty policies would cover this breakage. From what the customer service guys said, I was expecting at least a $100 charge (like Expeditor), or perhaps a "deal" of 50% off the retail price.

     

    Perhaps they were impressed by the fish count!
