I am in need of a new crank rod and I like the Denali Kovert. Denali makes great rods, its just the Kovert is so new I wanna hear a little about it first. How does it fish? How does it compare to other rods in its price range? Thanks in advance

Like you said, it's a brand new rod.  Odds are, not many people have them.  You should get one and tell us how you like it.

I have some Kovert rods and they are very very nice, and they do exactly what they say they do.  The simi-micro eyes allow you to cast a lot further, and the action is spot on just like the other Denali rods.  My favorite rod is the MH spinner bait rod, I do a lot of slow rolling deep spinner baits and this rod helps me cast further which in turns helps me cover area more productive but with enough action to set the hook on a bass in 20 foot of water.

I don't have any koverts yet but I do have a dozen Denali Rods and there is not one that I am not impressed with. I have the Denali Rosewood cranking rod and it is off the chain

Then you will feel the same about the Kovert, you will not be disapointed.
