Whos seeing them and whos not?

Hmmmmmm?? lol just trying to get idea whats going on where.

 

 

 

I haven't been out enough to exactly know, still haven't seen much change from summer patterns....

Oh yeah. Water temps dancing around 70, and cool nights are getting 'em fired up. Not all the time yet, but some days they are maniacs! 

 The fishing has been great the past week. The full moon has had the big bass biting good. Even during the super high pressure days with no wind and bluebird skies the big fish have been biting mostly early and late. It is one of the best times of the year to catch big bass.

Yeah, can't argue with that!

Havnt had a bite in the past 3 days, starting to get discouraged. Cant find the fish, resevior with no creek channels and I dont have a clue where the fish went.

With all the high pressure around lately,the fish that I've caught, a limit and dozens of pickerel every time.....have all been buried in the weeds as soon as the sun comes up. That's 4 times in the last week and unless you're fishing really early....plan on bottom bouncing.

Early am buzz baits have been killing it... day time.to night, a mixture of soft plastics. Weightleass.. they love brush hogs right now.. also bunch jigs off the bottom or dragging. It has been producing very well

Fished Webster on Saturday, water temps around 66 under cloudy skies. Fishing was really slow for the first 3 hours....we were throwing, jigs, spinnerbaits, grubs, soft swim baits and wacky rigged senko's. Interesting how it was really slow hitting many of the usual spots but then tried a new area and we lit it up catching a bunch in the 3lb range and lost a few at the boat also. Most of them came on a 3.5" soft swim bait rigged on a tungsten 1/8 ounce 2/0 jig head.

 I have been having luck on jigs, spinnerbaits, frogs, crankbaits,  and senkos. Seems like a lot of fish have started to move shallower. As the weeds start to die (like they have were I am) start to look to other structure and cover. Wood is always good. I have also been having some luck fishing at night lately.

+1 on the jigs. They're deep in the thick stuff. 

The smaller lakes/ponds near me are are all shedding quite a few degrees right now.  I'm starting to fish slower, with suspended cranks

Places in nh temps around 50. ShAllow wood structure such as beaver dams and laydowns toss a light jig w rage tail or craw imitation slow small hops and hit off the wood

This past weekend the bite was incredible. I have been doing real well on structure close to deep water. water temp has been around 50 degrees. The big fish have been congregated lately. I wont be fishing shallow anymore for the rest of the year. I will be fishing 15-45 feet of water. Crankbait bite has been red hot. Catching some fish on jigs and spinnerbaits as well. I have posted some pics on the October competition in the northeast section.
