Rapala Glass Fat Raps

I've used balsa Rapala Fat Raps with some success.  A few years ago when Bass Pro was liquidating their Glass Fat Raps, they lowered the price to $1.44 per lure.  I bought all they had - about 20.  Now I have a ton of them and have only used one or two a few times.

Does anyone like these lures or use them with success?  I just never seem to get around to using them.

Hey if you want to get rid of some of those, I'll buy some ;)

I had a few and they worked ok. I wouldn't say it was anything that was AMAZING (like I wouldn't go out of my way to buy one) but they held their own.

x2 decent bait. Not extra special, but decent. Good bait for bumping wood. At the price you got them for it shouldn't be too much of a prob if ya lose a few too. :)

I have, I like them for greenish low visbility water.

And that's precisely the type of water I fish most.  I've got to start using them.

Good lures for sure.

Two words.... LOVE THEM!!!

I use both them and the Glass Shad Raps with tremendous success!  The fat raps are better around timber w/ very little hookup issues.

Use them when nothing else works and you are sure to get something before you leave the lake!
