Fishing Reports

Featured Replies

Been using the Weather Channels fishing report for the various towns around me but I honestely have no idea if they're correct or not. Common sense tells me that the fishing is going to be the best in the morning, around noon and then at sunset.

However, on any given day, the fishing report is telling me that the fishing is either "Excellent", "Good" or "Fair".

Should I plan a fishing trip based on this information or is it BS?

Is there another site I can check that is more accurate?

Any info, as usual, is appreciated!

Anymore I can only plan trips when I get time to go.  I do not pay all that much attention to the weather.

It is a bi+<& fishing when you have to, so much higher percentage catching more and better fish when the conditions are better. Being retired I now have improved the hookup ratio myself by fishing when I see everything lineup right, fronts (hi - low), wind's (speed and direction), temps (rise fall), and the barometer, but very little in the charts from others published weeks ahead!!

But when all I mentioned above are right,,,,,,,,,there charts will be!!  :thumbsup1:

George just go fishing. We get so caught up on stuff, that we forget to just go have fun. I guess if your tournament fishing then the opinion might be different.

I wouldn't get all too caught up in that.  Those are just someone's best guess based on the weather predictions which is just someone's best guess
