Gulp Minnows

What do you guys use to prevent the tub from leaking all over the place? Different container?

Yea, plano I thought came out with a Gulp exclusive container but I could be wrong.  One thing to do is instead of tearing the seal off the rim, cut an X into is so that the edges are sealed. If you have bear claw hands this might be tricky.  Last resort, electrical tape around the edge of it.

I set the container in a zip lock bag with the top up

I drain out most of the "magic gravy".   They don't need to be swimming around in that much liquid in my opinion.  I just keep enough in there to cover the baits, less sloshing around that way.  I also found a spinnerbait box that will hold two pints, one on top of the other, perfectly.  I think it is a Flambeau box, but not positive.

never been a problem for me- the boats carpet has soaked it all up!

Which tub do you have- the oval like one or the regular tub type?

Newer ones seem to leak less for me.

The few times I've bought it I got the $19.99 tub. I haven't used it for bass, but it's killer for panfish and walleye. The packages dry out if they are accidently left open, which is why I get the tub.

I found some online for 6 bucks. I saw reviews on other sites that say the plano container leaks as well, just not as much.

I had one tub of craws leak and I believe it was the older style tub- new oval like tub has not leaked on me yet, and have had one over a year without any.  Lid deforming in the heat was my only guess on why the first one started leaking or I cross threaded the lid and screwed it up.

If you continue to use them, try cutting the X in the seal and see if that helps. Might want to use pliers or forceps to pull the bait out so your hands to rip it to pieces.  I have done this and it does help.

Side note, the grubs that gulp makes works great on panfish. I'll never use night crawlers again for panfishing because they do just as good and you get a million in a little jar. Very convenient, can't wait to take my kids out when they're old enough.

That's why I like the minnows. I don't have to worry about them dying, they don't fall off, and can be used for multiple fish
