Broward County Fishing

Featured Replies

First time member. I have a few fishing spots in broward county that produce a fun day of fishing mostly around the C-14 canal and i head over to parkland on the weekends but the biggest i have pulled out is 3-4lb large mouths. I know alot of the canals around me have snakeheads in them and im trying to cut down catching them they are just annoying but they do put up a good fight. Now i know people do not want to give away your "secret" spots but im just wondering where you all have better luck from not getting too many snakeheads. thanks

Where in Parkland have you tried?  My 7Yo pulled a 7LBer out of one of the canals on Mecca Blvd. Saturday at sundown.

ive seen gators in that lake.

I think pretty much every body of water in the area has snakeheads. The only place around without em that I know of is in the glades.

By that park that is there. I used to fish there a lot, but has been dead lately. I have started to see a lot of trash on the shore recently, didn't used to be like that :(

We are surrounded by water here in Coral Springs, but the best fishing is on the Lake.

Lake Coral Springs is where the monster in my avatar was caught. Still in the process of finding all the big ones in there. Need to find the spawning grounds!
