Carrot Stix

Featured Replies

I recently purchased a 7' heavy veritas ,7'2" medium clarus and a 7'6" heavy carrot stix wild all brand new for 100.00. are the new carrot stix still junk or have they worked out the issues.anyone have a carrot stix that has been a good rod.I'm not overly worried because of how cheap I got the rod for but curious if any one still likes or uses carrot stix rods.

I had three of the original carrot Stix, they were wonderful rods, light weight, extremely sensitive and priced right.  Sometime after their initial release they changed things up for the worse, quality issues and poor customer service ruined them.  I fished my original rods for three years problem free, sold them to a friend who still uses them to my knowledge.  I can't speak from personal experience regarding any of their new stuff, but from what I read in the fishing community they are not on anyone's top list of must have rods.

if it happens to last season I guess it was worth the 30.00.

Depends on  when the Carrot Stix's were manufactured.

If you have the ones with the problems you will find out, sooner or later.

If you have the ones that were corrected then enjoy them for a long time.
