Thrust Washer For New Prop

Featured Replies

I have a 2012, 115 hp Optimax and I'm upgrading from my standard Mercury aluminum prop (12.75 x 21P) to a Mercury stainless prop (13.5 x 21P).  Does anyone know if my current thrust washer will work with this new prop?  Or will I have to purchase a new one.

The center bore should be exactly the same as far as splines and stuff goes. So your old washer will be fine. This is my experience anyhow.

Thanks man.  I figured it should be especially since it's Mercury old prop to Mercury new prop.  Anyone else have any other experience with this?
