Couldnt find what I was looking for on it ,but compared to a IM6, IM7, IM8 how sensitive is it??? I plan to get the 7' MH version I like it and it is very light....If you could help me with anything Id much appreciate it. 

I think its one of the best in its price range. I bought a 6'6" mh for my son and plan on getting another for me.

I have a 7"6 MH for pitching 1/4 -3/8 ounce soft plastics and jigs and I like it alot. I usually dont miss a bite especially if im fishing with a tungsten weight. Its not incredibly light but I do believe its one of the lightest and most sensitive for the price range. In my opinion buy it.

I believe I read that the 30 ton rating was a IM7 however I have another rod that's rated IM8 and the veritas is much more sensitive. I wouldn't put to much emphasis on the rating as they vary between rod mfgs.

See, these IM7 and IM8 ratings don't matter, because they vary from each manufacturer. They're okay to compare RODS OF THE SAME MANUFACTURER to each other, but there's no way to compare RODS OF A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER simply by IM or whatever rating that they use. Until there's an industry standard rating they can never be the same.

As others have said, don't get caught up in the IM rating as it all varies.  This Veritas rod is the best rod that I have used and plan on purchasing another as (to me) the sensitivity is amazing.  The fact that you are in Georgia this little tidbit won't matter too much to you but the graphite can get a little fragile if you are fishing in below freezing temps.  That said, I doubt that you will have any regrets if you were to purchase this rod.

Strength to weight measurements are the most effective objective measurement at the moment. If two rods have the same strength, the lighter rod is likely more sensitive. I agree, graphite measurements are often innacurate and do not always lead to effective sensitivitiy ratings. I see of it as more of a marketing theme.

 

Good examples are a k2 vs SCV vs NFC HM.....these blanks all have similar strength to weight ratios, and produce similarly sensitive rods if the same components are used.

I too have the exact same except I use mine for a few different applications, however WhiteMike is right, go buy it.  You will be happy!!

I have a 6'6" M/F & 6'9" MH/F, both 2-piece for travelling, and find they're the most sensitive rods I own.  The next closest is a 7' M/M BPS Carbonlight.  All three are very light.  My 6'9" is very new, so some more practice is needed in the Spring.

 

I also like the way the Veritas' load up while casting.  I can't say they launch the farthest, but they feel the smoothest.

I have been fishing Veritas's (and Vendetta's + Vengeance's) for a while now. I have nothing in recent memory other than St Croix rods to compare them to. IMHO the Veritas's  are lighter and better balanced than ANY comparable power/action St Croix that I have had (Triumph, Premier, Eyecon, Mojo, Rage, Avid and Legend Tournament) sensitivity wise I would rate them as noticabley better than the SCII rods (Triumph/Mojo/Eyecon/Premier) I had, but to say they are more or better than the SCIII (Avid/Rage) or SCIV (LTB) might be a stretch. But that said they are plenty sensitive, and I really like the weight/balance of them better than my St Croixs, not to mention they cost less. But with the cost savings your trading off a few things, like build quality, quality of the components, and the lifetime warranties of the higher end Croixs. The same can be said about the Vendetta's, except they are a touch heavier than there Veritas counterparts............the Vengeance however is more like an SCII rod, yet they are still cheaper.

I agree with ww2farmer here.  The Veritas is a great all around rod and I still use one as my back up all around rod.  I own a 7'3" MH/F, if I need an extra jig/worm, spinnerbait, top water, frog rod or flip/pitch I use this to be that rod to help round out my arsenal on a given day.
