Lake Fork Creature

Featured Replies

I'm not really sure how else to fish these besides for a Carolina rig or like a swim jig, but I bought the baby size in watermelon seed to use as a trailer on a strike king bluegill swim jig. I figured that it would be killer if dyed the curly tail chartreuse. Any way what I want to ask is if y'all have had any luck using them as a swim jig trailer and what other ways you've fished them?

I use creature baits Texas rigged with a pegged sinker.  I have been killing them lately.

This is how I use them as well.  I use 1/4 oz weight most of the time. If it is windy or I am fishing a little deeper I will go up to 3/8.

I love to use them as a jig trailer, and a pegged sinker is essential in heavy cover.
