i mean to say Phenix

It really depends on what your bait is - soft plastics with the hook point buried like a Texas rig - go Medium, if it's smaller exposed hooks go light.

My friend has both a 6'9 and a 7'2 lights and I've used both. I prefer the 7'2 for dropshots all the way up to 3/8 oz, he also has a recon 2 medium and the action is too heavy for me.

Id go 6'9 light. I bought that rod right when they came out. Great dropshot and 1/16oz shakeyhead rod.

I'd go with the Recon for a drop shotting.  It's a bit more moderate action.
