New Gopro Boat Mount

Featured Replies

I had it mounted on the rear seat post but I soon discovered that does not work so well since I seldom fish alone.  So I came up with this.

3/4" galvanized floor flange, 36" nipple, galv cap, black rustoleum and 4 stainless screws.

It's mounted behind the drivers seat.

screw it in the base or take it out when not in use.  Sorry about the thumb pic.

I used the roll bar mount to secure the camera.

Hey pal.

Have you used this setup much since installing? Do you feel it's in the way at all?

It's perfect.  High enough to see over the windshield and low enough to not be in the way.  Taylor has fished in the back for several days with it in place and it does not bother her at all.

Thats a slick idea.  I need something like that.

I've got less than $20 in it not including the roll bar mount.  Rock solid too.
