Been a while since I've posted, been busy with stuff the past year so I'm kind of out of the loop on new stuff on the market. I need a new travel casting rod, I want something that can cover all basic stuff.

Senkos, Texas rigs, etc. Price range probably at most $150 because I won't use it all that much.

I have two 3 piece travel rods from Bass Pro.  Their Extreme series.  Even comes with a travel case.  I absolutely love them.  I own one spinning and one casting.  Both 6'5" MH F.  

 

Truly covers everything for me when on the go.

 

Take them with me when I travel for work (plane or back of my car).

I have one, great rod but the reel seat design makes the reel move around under load. It too wide in the back portion of the seat.

While I usually only use 1 piece rods, I recently decided to purchase a inexpensive 2 piece rod just to keep in my trunk and picked up a Daiwa AIRD662MHXB off Amazon for $36 and free shipping with my Prime membership. I have noticed they change the price between $36 and $44 at different times of the day. While I have not fished with it yet (and may not for sometime), I know the sensitivity will be not be anywhere near what I am use to with my Loomis rods but would rather have it with me than no rod at all. St Croix Premier line also offers two different 2 piece rods, the PC66MF2 $130 and PC66MHF2 $140 that would be more in the price range you are looking for and offer decent sensitivity. I have not fished with the 2 piece but have fished the PC66MF before and found it to be a very versatile rod.  

I was planning on fishing places that you have to hike in and I was looking at Cabela's XML Travel Casting Rods. 4pcs, which might be over kill for your need. I never pulled the trigger, so I do not know how it is.
