Canadian Looking To Fish In Florida

Featured Replies

Hey folks, I'm a Canadian, and since everything is frozen overhere I havent fish for the last 2 months. I would like to go in Florida in february for some bass fishing. I would fly down there with my rods and baits, but im looking for a partner with a boat! I would rent a condo or something for 3-2 days and i would like to fish at least 2 days, i got a boat here but... it useless on ice lol.

Anyone interested? Otherwise is there any cheap guides in florida??

Thank you guys!

If you go the guide route I would definitely hit up Captain Shane Procell!!! He RUNS south FL man it's truly amazing to watch (and being from Canada you will be culture shocked in Miami lol). He has a YouTube channel as well that you can check out but I haven't heard one negative thing about him, maybe people's arms may hurt because of all the fish they land but I see that as a positive lol.

He will put you on the South FL fish for sure! I'm from Jacksonville, FL but I plan on getting down there to catch me some Peacock bass I never caught one before.

In the Hollywood/Hallindale area French Canadian is a second language, lots of Canucks there.
