Looking for a fish finder for my kayak but not sure what to get. What kind of fishfinder do you have on your kayak? I'm looking at humminbird 571 HD but wanted to know if you guys had a review on this one or something else you guys use.

I've got an inexpensive Garmin unit, nothing special, cost me maybe $75 on sale. Now I do wish I had a better unit that gave me down scan imaging or such.

I built a transducer arm that attaches to my gunnel, swings over into the water. The entire system works great, is removable, but like I said, I'd pick a better unit to see the bottom better should the future hold some more cash for me

I have a OK T13, but I used the $189 Lowrance Mark4 that is black n white but it has amazing resolution. I can see the fish on the bottom and see my jigs on the way down and bouncing...tell us more.
