The 2014 season is fast approaching, if you live in the Germantown Maryland area and have thought about joining a bass club Fish On Bass Anglers is looking for both boaters and co-anglers.

We are a local club but fish a variety of locations, Black Hills, lower Potomac, Lake Anna, Lake Gaston, Smith Mountain and Deep Creek to name a few. The philosophy of the club is to have fun, be social and teach.

I have been in the club for several years now and can honestly say it has been a lot of fun and I have learned a lot. If anyone is interested the website is www.fishonbassclub.com. If you have any questions just send me a PM I will be happy to answer any questions.

Anything closer to baltimore/severn?

We have Conowingo on the schedule every May.  In the past we have fished the Upper Bay out of Tydings or Anchor Marina.  It's always in the discussion when forming the schedule...But we don't get up that way very much.

I know for a fact there are a few clubs that operate in that area.  I don't know the names off the top of my head but a google search will probably turn them up pretty easy.
