  1. Sorry for the lingo barrier! Got out this morning but only a few pounders. Got to huckfinn it though! Check out my poor man's boat! Tricky to fly from to say the least!
  2. 22 and a 19 inch surprise wading a local pond. One on a mouse pattern and other on a pot belly popper. Blast on the 5wt
  3. Some very small water Smallies from the other day. Great bbattles on the 3wt.one 17.5 inch while my previous best there was only 11... Great surprises!
  4. Found this while huckleberry finnin' it sitting over a log dangling a clouser minnow in the only break in dense weeds on my 5wt fly rod. Immediately taking off into the elephant ear pads covering itself in over ten pounds of absolute mess, and wrapping around a tree.... Was intense! Gave her some slack and she fixed herself and fish on! Was scouting for Snakeheads.
  5. Few decent fatties out of the governor bridge natural area on the 3wt with the perch streamer. (Enrico puglisi)
  6. Had some fun on some local ponds in the,Crofton area with the 3wt. Also a ton of snakehead in depot pond... Some very large.
  7. I have the ascend sit on top kayak that is a tank... I take the chair out and stand all the time depending on current. Works great and great for the price. I'd advise looking into a cart or making one as it is a tank. I'm 6'4 and very clumsy so it passes for me! The sit in,ascend is nice as well but I only use it on faster water as I prefer to stand (makes fly fishing much easier)
  8. Little wooly bugger action the other day after the warm rain on an empty golf course. 22 bass and 6 crappie in two hours of tossing the 3wt around. Nothing crazy but did miss a good 4-5lber...
  9. Was up off bunker hill road toss in flies to some eager brownies on my 3wt. Netted a grand slam, brook,Brown, rainbow, and a huge surprise gunpowder smallmouth. I've never targeted or even seen them way up on gunpowder. Destroyed a large bugger and took off like a rocket on two pound tippet... got her to my feet and she darted way upriver stripping line and throwing some impressive leaps. Fun stuff on such light gear! URL=http://s1276.photobucket.com/user/pharmareaps/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20140827_063614_zps3acc800c.jpg.html]
  10. This is my first year fishing there but early season was super productive the pads and cover are getting intwnse. Toss a popper or o the topwaters on nice misty nights when thebruisers are in close!
  11. I'm not sure how deep it is throughout but it isn't very shallow the structure is very unstable to wade so I haven't ventured very far into the water. It is very productive though I've caught that monster and maybe 4or 5 bass around 5-6lb there and several 3-5lb. I generally use topwater early and very late and toss some tubes or small worms with the fly rod. My buddy has seen some success with Kelly worms but I despise those snaggers! I go there or other ponds if o get out of work in time if I can't get to a river. Sometimes everyday for a little, bit things have been hectic lately. Hit me up next time you're there always look I for a fishn buddy! 4438270222 jus shoot me a text
  12. I tried fly fishing around this time last year and once I tried for bass I was hooked. Haven't missed a day since: ) well, maybe a day or two... I always bring a spin rod too to have more options. I've seen way more success with the fly but it's probably a mix of luck and confidence
  13. This place!walking fish pond.,, I think there is a post office and a bike store as well
