I have changed around my rod / pole set ups in the last year and am trying to decide if I need another set up with the big sales coming soon.

 

I use these from a boat on lakes and ponds.

seems you dont have a medium heavy with 15#...... that could round out your line up.

Get yourself a 7ft MH Fast  Rod and a 5:4 gear ratio reel. Put the 6:4 ratio on the MH and take the new 5:4 and put it on the 7ft medium vendetta. That way you have a dedicated crankbait combo, spinnerbait/ jig combo and a heavy frog/jig combo.  

MH Casting are my work horse. I have several I bring with me. Sometimes that's all I bring. Very versatile IMHO. (Yet, it depends on the water you fish.)
