Featured Replies

For some reason I am missing a couple forums now- the "other species", "flea market" "tourney"...any idea why?

thanks.

I thought the same thing. What has happened is the drop-down menu only shows a few of the boards. Click on Fishing Forums and the entire list appears. At least that's how it works for me.

The question is why the drop-down menu is behaving this way. Perhaps Glenn or one of the mods can answer?

While not a big deal, it is more clicks to get to where you want to go.

I noticed it too.  The only time I ever used the subforum drop list was to get to the Flea Market.  Otherwise, I use the View New Content link.

That's me.  :)

Actually, I removed, or greatly reduced, the pulldown menus on the navigation bar in order to improve usability.  Funny thing is, I did that almost 2 weeks ago. However, I just recently pared down the forum pulldown menu.  I was waiting to see if anyone said anything.  :)

Note that i did not remove any pages or forums.  I simply reduced the navigation choices.

Interesting.  I noticed when the new Electronics forum was created that it was NOT added to the pull-down forum menu.  I thought it might be a while but it would eventually be added.  Guess it won't be now....

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I jump from forum to forum using those pull-down menus.  It's extra effort to have to go back to the main forum listing, then  back out to the desired forum.  I rarely visit the new Electronics forum for that reason.

I mostly only visit four forums on this board - all are still on the pull-downs - so it's not a big inconvenience for me.  Does seem strange, though, that a handy navigation feature is truncated for what reason......?????????

I actually like(d) and use(d) the quick forum navigation via the pull-down menu!  :cry3:

When the list is longer than my screen, it's time to prune it down.  It never had all the forums in it anyway. Maybe it could have a couple added back...Flea Market comes to mind.

LOL. Got a big screen on my iMac, so never an issue here. But a legit issue for others.

The flea market is the only one I miss from the drop down list.

Goose I was just thinking the addition of the Flea Market Forum to the drop-down list makes it too burdensome and clumsy to navigate and maybe I'd petition to have Glenn remove it... :eyebrows: Just kidding! Thanks Glenn.

Yes! - it's back.  Thanks Glen for listening.
