Hot Toddy

Featured Replies

Seems like I might have caught my yearly cold. Last time this year had the same thing going on and a co-worker suggested some heated whiskey with some honey. I tried it and after a few days of taking a hot shot before bed; I seemed to clear up. I know lots of fluids and rest go along to help.

I just finished one off black velvet, cinnimmon, and honey. Anyone have any interesting hot toddy recipes?

My grandmother used to make hot toddys for us when we were kids. Probably be arrested these days for such behavior. A cup of hot water, a shot of whisky, tablespoon of honey, juice of half a lemon, pinch of ginger.

Good medicine.

Hot tea, lemon, and a teaspoon of honey.

Heck Granny use to give us homemade cough syrup, ghoti. Lol

Bootleg with soft peppermint sticks in it. The liquor would melt the peppermint and get all gooey.
