How's the Smallie fishing on Huron. Are there many Largemouths?

Smallmouth bass fishing is excellent throughout the "Thirty-Thousand Islands" region of Georgian Bay, Lake Huron.

Their average weight however runs lower than the smallies in Lake Erie.

 

Between Moon River and Parry Sound, largemouth bass are plentiful in the shallow backwater sloughs.

In fact, I'd be hard put to name a more dependable largemouth fishery (you'll notice it's my favorite lake).
