Im heading down to Naples the last week in Feb, bringing rods and a bunch of tackle down. I'm bringing a wide range of stuff, but anything specific I should focus on?

EDIT, leaving on Thursday, how's the fishing in the Naples area doing? What's producing at the moment?

6/0 twist lock(gambler sells their version) weightless up to quarter oz. weightless most of the time.

Also since it's towards the end of feb, bring some hollow body frogs...

Frogs, swimbaits, Frogs, Rat L Traps and Frogs.

One more question about the swimbaits, what colors tend to produce the best in the south?

I'll be fishing small ponds if tht matters.

You can not go wrong with  watermellon and red flake fluke..it is a mainstay in Florida water. Don't leave home with them

Forgot to ask, what rod should I bring to throw em on? Will a 7'3" MH do, or will I need a 7'6" H Flipping stick? Wasn't planning on bringing the flipping rod but if I have to I will. I plan on using either weightless hooks or 1/4 with these.

For me, I fish exclusively from the bank and retention type ponds, MH is fine, light pads, grass, hydrilla, no problem. But that isn't like the stuff in say the glades or chobee.
