Wow super deal, but conscious would've butted in and told my boss first how much the combo would've retailed.  Guess I'm just too honest.  Not saying what you did was wrong, just saying if it were me. 

What you have done is pretty crappy IMHO! You need to pray that you don't meet up with the real owner of that super nice Shimano/Loomis combo while you are fishing! It's a small world that we live in and I can guarantee you that if that was one of my Shimano/ Loomis combo's that you and your boss stole out of my car, I would get it back!

Number one it wasnt stolen, the owner of said car committed vehicler homocide due to being drunk and is now in prison. Once said car is towed and is unclaimed after 30 days the vehicle becomes property of my boss. He then applies for a title. Know one is stealing anything.

That does change things a bit! You initially said that he was in jail. Jail could be 31 days. If the guy committed vehicular homicide then screw him! Enjoy your new combo! Is that IMX or GLX?
