How COOL was That !

So often it's won with little fan fare in the back of some cove some where.

He must have been having the time of his life - Cleaning house on the final day of Classic , winning the thing and doing it all with full on Applause . . . . .

A-Jay

I was so focused on watching the bait but heck yea how often do the guys have a crowd cheering them on, I bet he was pumped up.

That is a really cool video... can't even imagine how great that must have felt. Hopefully they name that color Randy's Craw or something like that. He just gave his sponsor the best advertising they could ever get...

Another thing to think about is all that cheering yelling applause some bright colored shirts didnt scare the fish away. He was still catching in close vicinity of those people.

I bring this up cause I read many times of people thinking there would be no way of catching a fish with those distractions.

I'm glad they put the video of that up, I don't see Randy Howell as the type of guy who would lie but so much money is involved with a sponsorship that you never know and lets face it, how many of us would have changed baits after pounding them like that? I'm glad Randy Howell won but he told the truth, he caught his limit on the DT6 and then culled twice with the Livingston and he won by 1 pound so if he wouldn't have culled he may have come in 2nd.

Seems like a great guy! It's crazy to think that during the classic, with the clock running, he would take the time to explain what he was using to spectators! Talk about great advertising,

All the Demon Craw DT6's  that he was also using are sold out everywhere.  LOL

And this is why I said we should wait to pass judgment on Mr. Howell!

I think this new lure is an interesting concept. I don't think it would make you go from catching nothing to catching a ton, but I don't see why it might not make you catch a few more if you already found a nice spot and were catching them.
