Is Bass Pros Spring Sale In Store Only?

Featured Replies

Is bass pro shops spring classic in store only?  Will there be any online sales?

There's usually online sales but in store has things that they don't advertise

Last year it was online and I bought a good ammount of stuff..havoc packs were on sale for 1.95 a piece etc.

I'm staying up tonight just so I can refresh the page as soon as the sale starts

If memory serves, the online sale lasts longer than the in-store sale...FWIW.

It's a shame me and my buddy took our family to downtown Disney last weekend and stopped at Bass Pro on our way back to Jacksonville.

Figured the sale is this week I was joking with him last weekend that we should have pushed our trip back a week but our son's happiness comes before our own... I hope my fiancé see this post somehow. I may leave this open on my phone lol

It seems the sale is only in stores. The online sales stink unless you want in on that Crappie Madness Sale lol.

That's what im wondering too. This sale better be onlinee. I got things to order and no Bass pro shop for miles where I live.

I see that your a curry fan so if you live in the bay area the Manteca bass pro shop shouldn't be more than an hour and a half away.

So where do you live?

Would be helpful for you to introduce yourself in the Introductions Section and add your geographical location to your avatar.

when is the sale?

February 28 to March 16.  I'm pretty peeved, I woke up this morning and got on the website, nothing.  The closest store is 750 miles away from me, so driving  there is not an option.  I'm gonna call them later today and find out if anything's gonna be online.

They normally have the online sale that lasts longer and doesn't have the daily deals in it like the in store event does.

I just got off the phone with them and the lady I talked to said that the website hadn't been updated yet.  She didn't seem too sure of herself though, I wouldn't take it as an official response necessarily.  Guess I'll just have to wait and see...

That's good to know.  Are deals usually the same then, minus the daily specials?  I've never shopped at Bass Pro before so I have no idea what to expect.

Yes usually they have the same deals and a few more.

i think im going to the BPS in Hanover, MD either tomorrow or Sunday, not sure yet...

The online sale is usually after the in store sale. So after the spring classic is over they should launch the online sale. I do think its 100percent identical to the in store sale either.

HA! I'll be doing the same McAlpine.

What you planning to get?  I am planning to get a couple new spools of line, Zoom Super Flukes (Take advantage of 25% off), Havoc Grass Pigs (2.49 on sale plus rebate when you buy 3 1.49 after), swim baits (Not sure what kind yet or if I am) and get 3 spinnerbaits.  No new rods or reels this time.

I felt the same way

I'm a curry fan but I live in Wisconsin actually. There is no Bass pro here. I'm looking for the sales on plastics BP had for sale last year and some bitsy bug jigs etc..

Site still isn't updated yet, I called twice, 1st person said the spring classic sales were in store, online, and over the phone but I see nothing online, I called again and a different person said the sale was going on for Retail locations and the price can be matched online.. Also said that they would have an online sale as soon as their store sales are completed...

So.. I'm guessing they r not having an online sale for another few weeks ? I'll keep checking online from time.

Cabelas has Rapala DTs for $4.88 and Havoc baits for $1.99.  I have both a BPS and Cabelas near me and it seems like when Cabelas does a sale they really go all out.
