Siebert Outdoors Does It Again

Featured Replies

So excited about this, I just had to share (plus the water is frozen). Just got another order in Siebert Outdoors and everything looks great. Had really good luck with spinnerbaits last year and decided to up my selection- the bottom six are new. Top ones are from last season. Y'all will be seeing some hogs hanging from these on his site here in a few months.

Also decided to give his new "Fogy" a try. Will be looking pretty good with a white paddletail! Had to throw in a couple jigs in there too :respect-059:  If you haven't given Siebert a try for spinnerbaits, do yourself and order a few! :Victory:

Thinking I might have to get a dedicated spinner rod this summer if my luck keeps up. What rod and reel specs do y'all prefer?

I really like the Wright & Mcgill skeet reese spinnerbait/worm rod. The rod has just enough tip and amazing flex to it with a good parabolic bend for spinnerbaiting/chatterbaiting. Mind you, the rod is medium action so I only throw 14/ounce -3/8 ounce spinnerbaits on it, but I can whip them pretty far. I've caught a lot of bass on that spinnerbait rod in 2013 including this nice 5lber.

If you look in the right spots you can probably find one for about 80 bucks.

Whatever you choose good luck sir!

7' MHF are the specs I would recommend. My main rig is a St. Croix LEC70MHF/Calais 200/ Tatsu #20

On a side note...Glenn was fishing this rig with a Siebert Cosmic Spinnerbait last year on the RoadTrip.

He hooked up with the biggest largemouth I have ever see in person!
